Samantha Trussell is a solo attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families plan for the future and navigate life’s most difficult transitions. Her practice focuses on estate planning and post-death administration, providing clear, practical guidance during what can often be overwhelming situations.

Raised in Louisiana, Samantha earned her BA and MA in English from Northwestern State University of Louisiana before going on to earn her law degree from Antonin Scalia Law School in Arlington, Virginia, in 2018.

She is licensed in both Virginia and Arkansas and began her career in Virginia, where she worked in estate planning and fiduciary litigation. This experience gives her a well-rounded perspective, understanding not only how to build effective estate plans, but also how disputes can arise and be avoided. After relocating to Arkansas in 2022, she continued her work in estate planning and estate administration.

Samantha was drawn to this area of law because of its fundamentally selfless nature, clients are planning not for themselves, but for the people they care about most. She approaches her work with an emphasis on clarity, thoughtful planning, and helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.

With over 15 years of paralegal experience, Alison Burton brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role, including five years focused specifically on estate planning. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University and completed her paralegal certification through Auburn University, giving her both a strong academic foundation and extensive practical expertise.

Outside of the office, Alison enjoys a vibrant and adventurous life with her husband, their three adult children, and a lively household that includes one dog and four cats. She loves to travel, whether it’s taking a scenic train ride, exploring national and state parks, visiting offbeat attractions, or relaxing on a cruise. A passionate supporter of the arts, Alison frequently attends theater performances at The Robinson Center, The Rep, and the Orpheum in Memphis, and she collects artwork from her travels as meaningful keepsakes. Some of her favorite places include Dauphin Island, Alabama, and the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art in Little Rock—and when it comes to food, she’ll never turn down a good Philly cheesesteak.

Most importantly, Alison values building genuine connections and is always here to help clients feel supported and cared for every step of the way.
